Can you believe summer is coming to a close already? I certainly can’t! But with the new season comes many exciting things for our family so I am looking forward to a new change of pace.
When I say change of pace that also means a very fast pace for us. Grayson started preschool this week and on top of going there two days a week, he will also begin with 25-30 hours of therapy a week! It sounds like a lot but we are accepting and embracing any and all therapy for him during this next year especially. He is at the age where the most amount of therapy possible is the absolute best thing for him.
Speaking of Grayson, after we got over the rough patch from transitioning with the move, he has been on a big upward swing with his progression. His communication abilities are growing immensely and even though he still isn’t speaking english, he talks ALL of the time and uses the most beautiful communicate cues to converse with us. I can tell things are getting easier for him so with some solid therapy this fall, I know speech is on the way for him.
As for the other little one, well he’s been busy growing and figuring out this big world on his own. I will say this over and over but the second child is EXTREMELY different than the first. Ultimately, he is an easy going little ball of love that surprises me every day with new skills he picks up, inevitably from his older brother.
John and I celebrated our two year anniversary in July and actually got to sneak away for a day date, which had been much needed. We’ve been going through some pretty major stuff recently with life but through it all, we just get stronger and stronger. I adore having him as my partner in this crazy, messy life of ours.
On the work front, I’m still teaching/training just about every day in the gym, which I love! My friend and I also started training some local mamas each week through a Momma Bootcamp class, which has also been a blast! On top of that, I’m taking on a few clients a month with one-on-one nutrition/fitness coaching and still stick with the marketing duties at my gym. My plate is full but manageable right now and I’m 100% okay with that.
Some days are long, most days require wine, but ultimately I adore where life has taken us this year. I’m excited to grow my online business more each day and I’m working on a few group programs this fall and winter. And as always, I can’t thank you enough for your amazing support.
Here is to a great fall!
In good health,
