I can’t believe we are two weeks into September already! Grayson is getting ready to turn 3 in a few weeks and I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will have a three year old and almond one-year old. Like how does this happen?????
So I wanted to share a few things that I’ve been loving lately since it’s been quite some time since I’ve done a post like this.
Okay, first, I need to give a shoutout to my all new Momma Boot Camp class. This class was started by me and a friend of mine that both have a passion of inspiring fellow moms to make their health a priority. We started offering boot camp classes every Saturday morning in local parks and just in the course of a few weeks, our little mama group has grown to over 150 local moms that all come out on various weeks for a killer workout followed by a playdate. It’s been a blast to teach and I’m so inspired by these amazing women!
It never fails, but always around this time of year, everyone seems to come down with some kind of illness. Maybe we’ll blame back to school germs, but regardless, staying healthy can get a bit tricky come September. We’ve had a few runny noses here but nothing serious thank goodness. I’ve been loading up on the probiotics and homeopathic measures to stay well. The other day, I stumbled upon this new to me flavor of Kombucha and I instantly became OBSESSED! This flavor is so so good!
Avocado toast is back! I took a small break from it after I went through a heavy fixation over the summer but now that I have the help of Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel seasoning, I can’t get enough! The combo is ah-mazing!
I tried a new Paleo Pancake mix recently and thought it wasn’t too bad. I honestly never use a mix for pancakes (my gluten-free recipe is so simple and delicious) but I bought it on a complete whim so I could whip up pancakes on busy mornings for the boys. I wasn’t a huge fan of the monk fruit in it (tasted a little too sweet for me) but other than that, the pancakes came out perfect.
My teaching schedule adjusted a bit for the fall so I’ve been enjoying more mornings to lift. I seriously LOVE weight training and it has become my go-to choice when I have a workout to myself.
Lastly, I am LOVING the group that is forming for my Fall Into Shape program. Things are getting exciting and I can’t wait to dive into this with a great group of women who are all ready to get healthy and loose a little weight. There is still time to register so if you’d like more details, click here.
Those are the things topping my list at the moment. I hope you are enjoying a new season ahead!
