Today was a long day. Longer than usual and for no particular reason.
I woke up thinking I would make it to the gym, but when I saw the weather outside, a nice 30 minute youtube yoga workout sounded much better.
I haven’t done yoga in quite some time and I have to say, doing yoga while pregnant is not a walk in the park. I found myself out of breath while holding some of the positions. Perhaps I need to look into prenatal yoga workouts but I figured that was to be saved towards the end when the belly gets in the way of poses.
Regardless, it felt good and I look forward to adding in more yoga through this pregnancy.
Breakfast was served with a side of snow.
Just a cereal bowl and pretty much the exact same as I had the other day.
The only difference was last time it was 50 degrees while I ate it and today, it was like this outside….
More snow! Seriously spring, you have a week to get your act together.
In typical fashion, I stormed in the door after work starved! I know I keep saying this, but I definitely underestimated the level of hunger my body experiences while growing a baby. It’s much different than just feeling hungry or having an empty stomach. It’s more like intense hunger pangs that leave me feeling awfully sick if I don’t put something in my stomach. I keep thinking it will go away but I almost think as the baby gets bigger, I get more hungry.
Needless to say, dinner occurred shortly after I walked in the door.
We are running low on groceries so I was forced to put together a dinner with little ingredients. Breakfast for dinner always seem to work in these situations.
I made a Broccoli, Spinach, Sun Dried Tomato, and Feta Frittata.
It turned out great! Served with a whole wheat english muffin on the side, it was a nice, easy and quick dinner.
And since I’ve pretty much depleted our refrigerator, I think we may need to have a date night tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed your day!
