Thank goodness for the weekend! Fortunately for me, this week was a quick one with only four days of work. John is working all weekend so I may find some time to do some baby shopping. Other than that, I have nothing really planned, which is a great feeling. I feel like I should savor these weekends of rest while I can.
Let’s get to some confessions shall we?
I can not get over how fantastic this website is. My dear (and fellow prego friend) Janetha clued me in on this little gem. It’s called Baby List and it almost serves as a Pinterest for baby registries. Basically, you put a button on your bookmark bar and whenever you see an item you like, you just click on the button and it automatically adds it to your baby list. It’s a great way to organize your registry and share with your family.
Speaking of baby things, I never thought this would happen, but guess who was the first person to buy the baby clothes?
His daddy! John came home with this little onesie the other night and said he couldn’t resist. I’m actually surprised it wasn’t Red Sox related, but either way, you can’t really go wrong with newborn clothes.
And speaking of The Sox, guess who is taking her first trip to Fenway?
I got John tickets for his birthday next month but couldn’t even wait to give them to him. I am AWFUL at keeping surprises.
These zucchini fries from Trader Joe’s are pretty fantastic.
I’m trying to lay off vegetables for awhile, but I figured these might be a little easier for me to digest. If my vegetable consumption has to come in the form of fries, so be it.
Do you know what else is fantastic at Trader Joe’s (besides half of the store)?
Oh my gosh! I’m not even a huge toffee fan but dip it in dark chocolate and pistachios and you’ve made a believer out of me!
Tonight will end in polishing off the above toffee over a few episodes of Giuliana and Bill. My Friday nights are nothing like they used to be, but I have absolutely no problems with that.
Have a great weekend!
